What reduces your car insurance rate?

I have high rates right now because of tickets and accidents. Is there anything I can do to reduce my rate?

“The easiest way to reduce what you’re currently paying for car insurance is to shop around. While your rate may be high with your current carrier, not every carrier rates policies the same.
To determine what carrier will offer you the best rate, you should request car insurance quotes online and compare rates.
While requesting quotes, you should look at what discounts you may qualify for. Some common discounts include:
  • Good driver discount
  • Good student discount
  • Discounts for alumni
  • No claims discount
  • Multi-car discount
You should also look at the type of coverage you have on your policy. Carrying full coverage is always more expensive than liability car insurance. Reducing your coverage would decrease your rate. When requesting quotes, you should look at a variety of coverage levels as well.
Since you seem like you might have a bit of a lead foot, you may want to opt for collision coverage. Download the Jerry app to compare rates and find the best prices for your car insurance needs.”
