How many Mercedes-Benz Maybach Exeleros were made?

I’m a huge Mercedes-Benz fan and recently I was reading a blog about the rarest Mercedes on the road that mentioned the Mercedes-Benz Maybach Exelero. Do you know how many were made?

You’re correct. There is only one
Mercedes-Benz
Maybach Exelero in the whole world. The Maybach Exelero was produced in 2005 and sold to rapper Birdman in 2011 for $8,000,000. Here’s what makes this car so special.
The Maybach Exelero was produced in 2005 as a concept car, which explains why only one was ever built. It was outfitted with a 5.9 L twin-turbocharged V12 engine, 5G-Tronic automatic transmission. The engine produces up to 690 horsepower and 752 ft-lb of torque. The Maybach Exelero can reach a top speed of 351 kilometers per hour, or 218 miles per hour. It can accelerate from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in just 4.4 seconds.
As beautiful and powerful as the Maybach Exelero is, it’s rumored that the car was built to test tires manufactured by Fulda. Fulda wanted to create tires that could support a heavy but incredibly fast car, so the Maybach Exelero was built to test these tires.
