What is the curfew for teen drivers in Georgia?

My nephew is getting his driver’s license in a few months, and I’ve pretty much taught him everything he knows. The only thing we haven’t done is drive at night, so I know that both his parents and I are a bit apprehensive. Does Georgia have a curfew for teen drivers?

You’re a great uncle for teaching your nephew how to drive!
The curfew for teen drivers in
Georgia
is from midnight to 5 a.m.
In addition to this curfew,
teen drivers
:
  • Cannot have any passengers for six months
  • Can only have one passenger for the next six months
  • Can only have three passengers until they turn 18
Drivers over 18 can earn an
unrestricted license
, so you may need to formulate your own rules at that point. But as long as your nephew remembers the
Georgia traffic laws
and follows your guidance, they should have no issues cruising the peach state.
