What is the cost to renew a driver's license in Idaho?

I’m in the midst of moving from Pocatello to Boise. When I went to the bank to withdraw money to pay the movers, the teller informed me that my license is going to expire in two weeks. While I’m glad she told me, I also want to make sure I have enough money after moving expenses. How much does it cost to renew a driver’s license in Idaho?

Congratulations on moving to the City of Trees!
Since you already have moving expenses, you’ll be glad to know that the cost to
renew a driver’s license
in
Idaho
is only $35. Once you renew your license, it’s valid for four years from the date of application.
To renew your
Idaho driver’s license
, create an Access Idaho account and follow the directions once you log in. You can
sign up on the Access Idaho wesbite
. Note that the state charges a small processing fee on top of the $35 fee.
You can also renew your license in-person at a local DMV. You must renew in person if you’re switching from a standard driver’s license to a
REAL ID
. Schedule an appointment to skip the lines and get in and out more quickly.
