- Your license is not expired or within 30 days of expiring
- Your driver’s license is valid
- You are not adding or removing an endorsement
- You are not changing your name
To get your Idaho replacement driver’s license, you’ll need to pay a fee of $20, along with a small processing fee. You should receive your replacement in the mail within 12 to 44 business days.
Replacing a lost Idaho license in person
You can also replace a lost or stolen Idaho driver’s license by visiting one of the state’s
driver’s licensing offices
. You’ll be required to prove your identity when getting a replacement license in person with the following information:- Driver’s license number
- Full name
- Date of birth
- Social Security Number
