What is the 2016 Jeep Patriot oil type?

I haven’t changed the oil on my Jeep Patriot in quite some time, so I figure I’m in dire need of one. I was thinking about changing the oil myself; I just need to know what to buy. What oil type do I need for a 2016 Jeep Patriot?

If you want peak performance and top-notch fuel economy from your 2016
Jeep Patriot
, use the oil type SAE 5W-20. According to Jeep, full synthetic oil is preferred, as it is on many new cars, but blends and conventional oil are also acceptable if you want to save a bit of money.
Full synthetic oil takes you about 7,500 miles between oil changes, whereas blends or conventional oils are in the 3,000- to 5,000-mile range. To complete the oil change, you’ll need at least 4.5 quarts of oil. Since most motor oil comes in a 5-quart bottle, this shouldn’t be an issue.
