Depending on the engine series, the Camry hybrid comes equipped with a high voltage battery pack containing sealed Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) battery modules*1 or Lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery cells allowing for optimal fuel economy and performance.

All standard Toyota Camry batteries that a Toyota Authorized Dealership installs are covered by a warranty up to 24 months and include parts and labor. The hybrid battery warranty is for ten yearsor 150,000 miles, whichever comes first. Toyota also offers ToyotaCare Plus, which extends maintenance coverage another 4 years or 45,000 miles.
