What is a loaner car?
My mechanic has mentioned that they offer loaner cars. What are they?
A loaner car is a car you get to borrow for free from your mechanic while your car is in the shop. This service is offered by many dealerships and auto shops so that you can get around while your car is being repaired or serviced.
You have to have up-to-date insurance and usually be over 25 to use this service. Most insurance includes rental insurance for situations like this.
