I’m renting a 2015 Ford Escape for a ski trip in Vail and it’s been so convenient. There’s one issue—I can’t figure out how to connect to Bluetooth. Do you know how to connect to Bluetooth on a 2015 Ford Escape?

Getting used to a new vehicle, especially a rental, can be tough. Thankfully, to connect to Bluetooth on a 2015
Ford Escape
 is relatively straightforward. Follow this step-by-step process to connect your device via Bluetooth:
  • Step one: Make sure Bluetooth is activated on your mobile device.
  • Step two: On your SYNC multimedia system, press Phone > Add Phone. The system is now discoverable from your mobile device and will display a unique PIN.
  • Step three: On your mobile device, select your Ford SYNC system in the Bluetooth menu. The two will begin pairing, and your SYNC screen will confirm the request.
  • Step four: Your mobile device and Ford SYNC system should now be connected via Bluetooth.
And that’s all there is to it! Bluetooth allows you to make and accept hands free calls, use audio navigation, and even stream your favorite music.
