rims’ width by looking at your tire size.The size of rims you need for your vehicle can vary depending on its model year, trim level, and transmission type, among other factors. If you don’t know your tire size, you can check your owner’s manual or the sidewalls of your tires.
For example, the 2020
Chevrolet Corvette Stingray
has a standard tire size of 245/35R19SL on the front and a tire size of 305/30R20SL in the back. You’ll want to note the numbers directly following the R, which tells you your rims’ diameter in inches. In this case, you’d have front rims with a diameter of 19 inches and rear rims with a diameter of 20 inches.
