My Toyota Corolla won't start and has no click: What gives?

I’ve tried to start my Toyota Corolla several times this morning, and I’ve had no luck. One thing that strikes me as odd is that the battery appears to be fine and there’s no clicking noise like you’d normally hear if the battery was bad. Why won’t my Toyota Corolla start with a click?

Sorry to hear about your troubles! Chances are that your Toyota Corolla won’t start and has no click because of issues with the starter. Generally speaking, your car will make clicking noises if the alternator or the battery is the issue. If you haven’t had any other issues with your car, the power comes on, but you hear no clicking, a bad starter is the likely culprit.
Depending on your Corolla model year, the cost to replace a bad starter is between $300 and $400. But the only way to know if the starter is the issue is to take your car to the shop.
If you want to save up some cash to pay off your repairs sooner rather than later, you can always start by comparing
