Is the alternator covered under a Dodge warranty?

I’ve only had my Dodge for about two years. I was driving today when I noticed that it was idling very roughly. I took my car to Autozone to get tested, and they told me that the alternator was bad. Since my car is so new, I would think that my warranty would cover it, but I’m not sure. Does the Dodge warranty cover alternators?

Dodge’s 3-year, 36,000-mile basic bumper-to-bumper warranty should cover the cost of a new alternator. Since alternators typically last about seven years or 100,000 miles, chances are that the alternator is defective, which means that Dodge would cover it without any questions or issues.
A new alternator typically runs you about $200 to $400, so it’s not exactly a minor expense. To offset the cost of a new alternator — if your warranty denies the claim — you can always slash your
