Is AC covered under the Nissan warranty?
My air conditioning has barely worked since I bought my Nissan. Is that covered by my warranty?

come with a standard limited warranty, also known as a bumper-to-bumper warranty. This warranty covers most components in your car that is found to be defective, including your air conditioning.Nissan’s limited warranty lasts for 36,000 miles or three years, whichever comes first. Unless you purchase an extended warranty, Nissan won’t be responsible for fixing your air conditioning after this period.
Your warranty also won’t cover your air conditioning if it is damaged due to:
- Theft
- Flooding
- An Accident
The best way to maintain your air conditioning is to use it regularly, even during the winter. Running it at least once a week will keep the system working properly. Although purchasing an extended warranty isn’t always worth the money, you may find it worthwhile just for the peace of mind alone.
