car insurance is to ensure you’re taking advantage of all the discounts available to you.GEICO offers discounts based on the safety equipment in the vehicle, such as:
- 23% discount if your vehicle has airbags
- 5% discount on certaintypes of insurance
- 3% discount of vehicles with daytime-running lights
- 15% discount on vehicles three model years old or newer
GEICO also offers discounts based on your driving habits:
- Drivers with no accidents in the past five years can save up to 22% on most coverages.
- If you and your passengers always use seatbelts, you could save on medical and personal injury payments on your premium.
Geico also offers education discounts for drivers who take a defensive driving course and full-time college students with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
If you are retired or active-duty military personnel, you are eligible for up to 15% discount on your policy. If you have more than one vehicle, you can insure multiple vehicles with GEICO and get up to 25% off of your total yearly premium.
