How much does it cost to complete an engine splash shield repair?

The engine splash shield on my car got ripped off by some debris on the road the other day. I know that I don’t have to replace it, but I want to ensure that my engine compartment and the components stay pristine. How much should I budget for an engine splash shield repair?

To repair an engine splash shield, you should reasonably expect to pay between $50 to $500.
In most cases, the low end of this spectrum should repair the shield. However, the high end would include a new engine splash shield, which is common if the shield itself was ripped or torn during the accident.
To save money, you could also do the repair yourself. Most engine splash shields are just rubber or plastic barriers that are set in place with screws. Just remove the old splash shield by taking out the screws and putting the new one in.
