How much does an electric car engineer get paid?

I’m currently studying to become an auto engineer and there is a program available that will give me some extra training on electric cars. It’s not super cheap (as most programs aren’t) so I was wondering if it’s worth it. How much does an electric car engineer get paid?

School definitely isn’t cheap when you have to pay out of pocket, we understand. **The average salary in the US for an electric vehicle engineer is about $89,100 a year, and for an automotive engineer, it is about $68,000 to $72,000 **. They are both fairly comfortable salaries but it may be worth the extra training in the long run.
These numbers are just the average so there could be a much higher or lower income give or take $20,000 either way. Considering that many car manufacturing companies are hoping to switch to electric fleets in the near future, it may not be a bad idea to get the special training now so you can have an extra edge by the time you’re hired.
Whether you drive a car or work on them, you’ll probably need
