How many wheels does a plane have?

Do planes have four wheels like cars do, or do they have more? I’m getting ready to fly for the first time since COVID and takeoff and landing are both super scary to me. I’m hoping that knowing more about the landing gear will help with my nerves.

Learning more about aircraft is a great way to make yourself less nervous about flying, since planes are designed to be really safe! Most planes have six wheels in total: two under the nose of the plane, and two more under each wing. The wheels form a triangular shape to catch the plane perfectly when it lands.
Since there are two tires at each point on the plane, a safe landing can still be conducted even if one tire fails. This means that, even in the rare occurrence that a plane tire pops, you won’t be in danger during takeoff or landing; it’s just a headache for the pilot and future passengers on the plane, as the tire will need to be replaced before the plane can take off again.
Did you know that cars are statistically much more dangerous than planes? That’s why it’s so important to have a good
