How do you open a Volkswagen Tiguan gas tank?
I bought a new Tiguan for myself earlier this week, and I just realized I can’t figure out how this gas tank opens! Is there a release lever? How do you open a Volkswagen Tiguan gas tank?

Generally, to open the Volkswagen Tiguan gas tank door, there’s no release lever or button you need to worry about pressing on the inside of your vehicle.
Instead, you can just press in on the fuel door itself, which should pop open so you can unscrew the gas tank cap inside. However, you might need to unlock your Tiguan first—if you’ve pressed the lock button on your fob, that’ll lock the fuel tank door, too.
