How many GMC Typhoons were made?

I’ve always been a huge fan of GMC, but I didn’t know until recently that they made something called the Typhoon. I saw it at an auto show, and it’s one of the most souped-up versions of the Blazer I’ve ever seen. How rare are they?

The GMC Typhoon was made from 1992 to 1993. 4,700 of them were made. The idea behind the GMC Typhoon was simply to excite the masses of GMC SUV owners, which at that time were small in number.
Featuring a 4.3-liter turbocharged V6 engine, the GMC Typhoon churned out 280 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. It went from 0-60 mph in just 5.3 seconds with a top speed of 126 mph, making it one of the fastest GMC models ever to roll off the assembly line.
Right now, the Typhoon goes for an average price of around $36,000, which is almost in line with a new GMC SUV. So whether you try to find a Typhoon or just go with an Acadia or Yukon, lower your
