How many cylinders does a Bentley have?

I’m obsessed with Bentleys. I can’t yet afford one but it’s my goal to buy one in the future. I read somewhere about a unique configuration of cylinders on the Bentley. How many cylinders does a Bentley have?

There are six, eight or 12 cylinders on a Bentley, depending on the configuration.
You can get an eight or 12-cylinder engine on the coupe or convertible.
The new Continental GT Coupe (starting MSRP is $238,325) comes standard with a twin-turbo V8 engine. The result is epic acceleration (3.4 seconds to go from 0 to 60). Fuel economy is reasonable with the V8: 16 city mpg and 26 highway mpg.
The 6.0L W-12 engine offers a whopping 626 horsepower in non-Speed models or 650 in the Speed model. This is the unique configuration you’re probably referencing, where banks of cylinders are arranged in a “W” shape.
Some Bentleys like the Flying Spur offer a choice between a V6 engine, like the 2.9L hybrid engine, and the V8 and W-12. Note that first-generation GTs and the
first famous Flying Spur
came standard with a W-12 engine.
Ultimately, if you can afford the cost of a new Bentley then you’ve probably got enough cash to opt for the epic W-12 engine. Your only sacrifice will be fuel economy, as the W-12 gets noticeably worse mileage than its V8 and V6 siblings.
