How durable are electric cars?

Your concerns are valid, but generally, electric cars are very durable, except for one weak spot.
People who have made the switch often report that their
electric cars
are very reliable, even more so than the classic cars and hybrids. That assessment makes a lot of sense because all-electric vehicles have fewer moving parts than the other car types. So overall, a lot less can go wrong with your EV.
The problems that do arrive tend to center around the technical side of the automobile. According to Consumer Reports’ latest reliability rankings, electric cars are becoming more vulnerable to reliability issues because of the complexity of increased technologies.
The report found thatlower-end electric vehicles score better in reliability and durability because of the absence of tech features. Whereas luxury EVs are more unreliable because of their complex infotainment and more tech.
It’s important to remember that these issues are not permanent and may be gone sooner than you think. Unlike their gas-fueled counterparts, EVs do not have a hundred years of experience and crafting. So we will likely see significant improvements in the coming future.
Until then, it’s best to tighten up your car insurance coverage to help support you and your vehicle where it may lack.
