How do you see if a car is insured online?
My mom can’t remember when she last paid for her insurance. We want to check online to ensure her car still has insurance. How can we check her car's insurance online?

To start, go to the website of her
car insurance company
. As long as she has an online account, she can access her policy documents. If she doesn’t have an online account currently, she should be able to create one with her policy number and personal information. Another option is to check your mom’s bank account or card statements. Her statements should list any payments to her insurance company. If there’s a recent payment, you can assume her insurance is still active.
Should that not work, you’ll need to reach out to the insurance company directly. They can give you the most up-to-date information and provide you with online access.
While your mom is reviewing her insurance, consider shopping around. Rates vary from company to company and she may be eligible for a better rate elsewhere.
