How do you renew a driver’s license in Tennessee?

How do I renew my driver’s license in Tennessee if it’s expired? I let my license expire by accident and now I’m nervous that they’ll make me retake all of the driving tests.

You can renew a driver’s license online, in person, or by mail in
Tennessee
. But since your driver’s license has expired, you’ll need to visit the nearest driver’s services center to renew your license in person. Bring your current license and at least one form of proof of residence, as well as payment for the $28 renewal fee.
If your license expiration date was over 30 days ago, you’ll need to pay a late fee of $5. If it has been more than six months, the fee is increased to $10. If you’re more than five years past the expiration date, you’ll have to retake the licensing tests to get a new license.
While updating your driver’s license, it’s a good idea to update your
car insurance
policy, too. The
