Great question! You can easily program a key fob for a 2004
Dodge Dakota
 by following these simple steps:
  • Turn on the ignition without cranking the engine.
  • Press and hold the unlock button on a working key fob for 4-10 seconds.
  • While pressing the unlock button, press on the panic button for 1 second and release both buttons at the same time. You should hear a chime within three seconds if you’ve successfully entered programming mode.
  • Within 30 seconds of the first chime, press any button on your remote. You should hear another chime to indicate you’ve programmed your fob successfully.
