To cancel your State Farm home insurance policy, you have a couple options: by mail or in person.
You can cancel
State Farm
auto policies, but not homeowners policies, over the phone.
To cancel your policy by mail, send a letter to the following address with at least two weeks’ notice:
Corporate Headquarters State Farm Insurance One State Farm Plaza Bloomington, IL 61710
That letter should include the following information, per State Farm’s website:
  • Your name, address, and phone number
  • Your policy number and the date you want the policy to end
  • New insurer’s name, policy number, and start date (if applicable)
You can also cancel your policy in-person at your local insurance office. Make sure to be ready with the same information as listed above.
