How do I reset my Honda radio after a battery change?
I just had the battery changed in my Honda and I noticed that the radio isn’t acting a bit odd. I’m assuming it needs to be reset. How can I do this?

After a battery change, there are usually a few things that need to be reset, including your radio. Generally, to reset the radio in your Honda, you can follow these simple steps:
- Put your Honda in accessory mode by turning the key once in the ignition or pressing the push start twice.
- Turn the radio on by pressing the volume control knob. Leave the radio on for about 10 seconds before turning it off again.
- Press and hold the power button until the radio display turns on. If it asks for a code, check your owner’s manual.
- Use your radio presets to enter the radio code. Ignore any letters in the code.
- Turn off the ignition. When you turn it on again, your radio should be working.
