- Remove the physical key from within the fob.
- Find the seam between the lid and the base of the fob.
- Get a flathead screwdriver into this seam and pry the two halves of the fob apart. You may want to wrap your screwdriver in tape to prevent scratching.
- Replace the dead battery.
- Snap the fob back together.
