How do I fix my car stereo?

My car radio stopped working last week. I checked the audio connections and everything is securely attached. How do I fix my car stereo?

If the audio connections are securely attached then it’s likely a fuse has blown and your radio is no longer receiving power.
Luckily, you can replace the blown fuse to fix your car radio by following these steps:
  • Locate your car’s fuse box and remove the cover
  • Identify the broken fuse
  • Remove the blown fuse with your fingers or pliers
  • Insert the new fuse in the same spot you removed the blown fuse
  • Re-cover the fuse box
  • Start your car to see if the electrical components are working again
