How can I clean my driving record in Illinois?

I have accumulated a few speeding citations over the years and hope to clear my record and start fresh. Is it possible to clean my driving record in Illinois?

Sorry to break it to you, but you can’t clear your driving record in Illinois. According to reckless driving laws in Illinois, only criminal charges qualify for expungement, not traffic tickets.
The only way to technically clear your traffic ticket conviction(s) from your driving record is to hire a lawyer who can help defend you if you choose to bring your case back to court.
