Does the Tesla Model 3 have cruise control?

I like to cruise the highways, freeways, parkways, causeways, thruways, and byways. And when I say “cruise” I mean drive on cruise control. Anyways, I’m thinking of “plugging in” and going electric—with a Tesla. Will it have cruise control?

Yes, all new
Tesla Model 3s
have cruise control—but this isn’t just any old cruise control. New Teslas are equipped with the Autopilot driver-assist technology package, which includes TACC or **Traffic-Aware Cruise Control.
This fancy name is actually adaptive cruise control, which adjusts your Tesla’s speed based on the vehicle in front of you and surrounding traffic. Using the Tesla’s eight external cameras, your vehicle’s TACC system will determine whether to stay cruising at your set cruising speed or to adjust your speed—either faster or slower. You’ll be able to set a maximum cruising speed in your Model 3, too, though it tops out at 90 mph.
Even though the Tesla Model 3 has adaptive cruise control, this doesn’t absolve the driver of responsibility while using this mode. You must always keep your hands on the wheel when using TACC, as you may need to take control of the vehicle manual in case of an emergency.
