Does the Mercedes-Benz CLA 250 have a spare tire?
I just got a flat and called AAA. They’re on their way to fix it, but I don’t know if my Mercedes CLA 250 has a spare. What should I tell them?

The Mercedes-Benz CLA 250 does not have a spare tire. Instead, it is equipped with run-flat tires, which are designed to be driven on after a puncture so that you can get to your nearest auto shop safely.
Run-flat tires—sometimes called zero-pressure tires—can support your vehicle for about 50 miles (at speeds of 50 mph or less) after it goes flat. This way, you can get safely to a mechanic without waiting forever for roadside assistance or attempting to repair the punctured tire yourself on the side of the road.
They work because of sidewalls that are heavily reinforced to support the vehicle when the air pressure is low, or even when the tire has lost all its pressure.
Mercedes opts for run-flat tires in many of their vehicles to reduce overall vehicle weight and increase space in your vehicle’s storage areas.
If you’re committed to having a spare on hand, you can always purchase an aftermarket spare that will fit your CLA 250.
