Does the Mazda CX-30 have Apple CarPlay?
I plan on purchasing a new vehicle soon, and to stay within budget I’m avoiding fancy upgrades. Generally, Mazdas fit into my budget, but one feature I really want is Apple CarPlay. Is there Apple CarPlay on the Mazda CX-30?

Mazda is a solid choice! The Mazda CX-30 has Apple CarPlay as a standard feature for model years 2021 and newer. Android Auto is also standard.
The CX-30 was a brand new addition to Mazda’s lineup for the 2020 model year, replacing the outgoing
CX-3
subcompact crossover SUV that was ultimately discontinued in 2022. Apple CarPlay was an option for the debut model, but only for the Select trim or higher. If you drive the 2020 base model CX-30, you may not have the convenience of Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, but standard tech does include Bluetooth and two USB ports, so playing music through your smartphone without Apple CarPlay is still very possible.
But if you drive an older Mazda and simply cannot live without Apple CarPlay, you may be in luck. Mazda model years 2014 or newer that are equipped with Mazda Connect technology can be retrofitted with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto—just visit your local Mazda dealer to learn the details.
