Does my 2011 Chevy Silverado have Bluetooth?

I just bought a used 2011 Chevy Silverado, but I forgot to ask a few key questions before I did. The main one I’m concerned with, though, is whether my “new” truck has Bluetooth connectivity. Can you answer that question?

Of course! And, we understand—with all the excitement surrounding a vehicle purchase, it can be tough to remember all the things to look for when buying a used car. For 2011, only the top-tier
Chevy Silverado LTZ
features Bluetooth among its standard features, but the option was available as an add-on for all trims.
If your truck is equipped with Bluetooth, you’ll notice a ”Phone/Speak” button on your steering wheel. If you don’t see this button, you don’t have Bluetooth. However, even the base
Silverado Work
trim comes equipped with an auxiliary audio jack. This means that while you may not be able to make hands-free phone calls, you can at least listen to your tunes and podcasts in your new ride.
Even if your Silverado isn’t equipped with Bluetooth,
adding a Bluetooth adaptor to an older car
is a fairly simple and inexpensive process. With this simple upgrade you can take advantage of all the safe and convenient hands-free options Bluetooth has to offer.
