Does Michigan offer an electric vehicle rebate?

Can I get a tax break for driving an electric car? I’m trying to save as much as I can on my taxes this year because money is a little tight right now.

Unfortunately,
Michigan
doesn’t currently offer any electric vehicle rebates. However, you can get a rebate of up to $500 from DTE Energy by installing a Level 2 electric vehicle charging station in a qualified residential area!
Even without a tax rebate, however, electric cars can still save you money—especially with how high gas prices have been lately. You’ll save money on fuel costs by purchasing an electric vehicle since you won’t be buying gas for your car anymore.
Since you’re trying to save money, why not cut costs in other areas, too? With the
Jerry
app, you can find a
car insurance
policy with the best rate available for the coverage you need. The average user saves over $800 per year!
