Does Kansas have toll roads?

I live in Kansas in a very rural area. However, I’ve always wanted to visit Wichita, Topeka, and Kansas City. Now that I have enough money saved up, I’m going to take the trip, but I want to avoid tolls if possible. Does Kansas have any tollways?

If you want to see the big cities of Kansas without paying a toll, you’re almost in luck. Kansas has only one toll road—the Kansas Turnpike. The Kansas Turnpike extends from the Missouri-Kansas border to the Oklahoma-Kansas Border at a total distance of 236 miles. It runs concurrently with I-335, I-70, and I-35 in eastern and southeastern Kansas—but only for portions of each.
However, it goes through all of the major cities you want to visit. It may seem like an unnecessary expenditure, but the turnpike only costs between $0.30 and $12 depending on where you enter and exit the turnpike.
While the Kansas Turnpike is relatively inexpensive, finding ways to offset the cost is always a savvy plan. Sign up for the
