Does Hyundai’s warranty cover paint?

I’ve had a new Hyundai for a couple years, and I’m starting to notice some weird discoloration in the paint in a few places. Is this covered by warranty?

I’m sorry to hear that your
Hyundai
isn’t keeping its color. Luckily, your car’s paint job is covered, as long as it’s less than three years old and you’ve driven it fewer than 36,000 miles. During this timeframe, Hyundai’s warranty covers discoloration and fading due to manufacturing defects. This warranty doesn’t cover:
  • Chips
  • Scratches
  • Cosmetic damage
Hyundai’s best-in-class warranties cover a lot, but they can’t cover repair costs associated with accidents or extreme weather events. That’s what
car insurance
is for. Make sure you’re getting the coverage you need from your car insurance by shopping on the
Jerry
app. When you shop and switch with Jerry, you can rest assured that you’ll always have the best coverage at the best price. In fact, you could
