Do they drug test before a driving test?
I’m 21 years old, but I’ve never had a driver’s license before. I want to get one now to get to my job. That said, I smoke weed somewhat regularly because it’s legal in my state. Will the state drug test me before I take a driving test?

With the increasing legalization of weed, law enforcement has ramped up efforts to stop

with respect to marijuana. However, no state drug tests before a driving test. That said, if you show up to your driving test and appear intoxicated, the DMV will not let you take the test. This could impact your ability to get a driver’s license.
