Do I need to go to traffic school for a carpool ticket?

I got a ticket for driving by myself in a carpool lane. I can go traffic school, but it doesn't look like there are points attached to the ticket. Will my insurance increase if I just pay the fine?

“You are not requiredto go to traffic school for a carpool ticket. If the ticket doesn’t have any points attached to it, going to traffic school won’t reduce the severity of the ticket. You may also have to pay for traffic school in addition to the original fine, if necessitated in your state.
No matter how you choose to deal with the ticket, you will likely see an increase in your
car insurance
. Even if there aren’t any points associated with the ticket, it still goes on your driving record.
As car insurance companies use this as a factor to determine rates, you can see an increase anytime you don’t have a
clean driving record
.
If you notice an increase in your car insurance rates due to a ticket, make sure request car insurance quotes through
