Can you take driving lessons in a different state?

I live in Belleville, Illinois, but I’ve heard that I can take driving lessons earlier if I cross the bridge into Missouri. Can I take driving lessons in a different state?

is excited to get their license, so if you can expedite the process, you’ll be a happy camper. While you can take driving lessons in a different state, it may come back to haunt you.
When you get a driver’s license, the state you’re applying in wants to see a learner’s permit from the same state. So if you went to Missouri for driving school, that’s all good. But make sure you get an Illinois driver’s license if you intend to apply for an Illinois driver’s license.
Regardless of where you take your driving lessons, just make sure that you have an affordable car insurance policy when you get your license by visiting the
