Are wheel bearings covered under the Chevy Powertrain Warranty?

I’m thinking of getting a Chevy for my next vehicle, but am not sure if I’m happy with the Powertrain Warranty. I think wheel bearings should be covered, but I don’t see them listed under covered components. Does the Powertrain Warranty cover wheel bearings?

You’ve definitely done your research! Unfortunately, wheel bearings are not covered by Chevy’s Powertrain Warranty. Here are other components that are also excluded from the 5-year/60,000-mile Powertrain Warranty:
  • Drive system cooling, lines, hoses, radiator, sensors, wiring, and electrical connectors
  • Drive system control module and/or module programming
  • Drive wheel front and rear hub bearings
  • Locking hubs
To cover your new Chevy in case these excluded parts are damaged in an accident, adding insurance coverage may be your best bet. If you’re worried about increasing your
