How to enable Apple CarPlay in a 2022 Lexus RX 350

Setting up your Apple CarPlay in the Lexus RX 350 is a snap! Just follow these steps to complete the first-time setup:

Put your Lexus in Park (P)

Enable CarPlay (Settings > General > CarPlay) and Siri (Settings > Siri & Search) on your iPhone

If you’re using a USB cable: Connect your iPhone using an Apple-certified USB and select “Yes” on the vehicle screen when asked if you would like to use CarPlay. Then do the same on your iPhone. This will launch Apple CarPlay.

If you’re using a wireless Apple CarPlay connection: Enable Bluetooth on your iPhone. On your Lexus’ screen, go to Settings (gear icon) > Bluetooth & Devices > Add Another Device > Search for Devices. You should be able to select your iPhone. Answer the prompts and click “Yes” when asked if you would like to enable CarPlay. Once you tap “Use”, Apple CarPlay will be enabled.

Note that the USB port you need to enable Apple CarPlay is located inside the center console.
