Is there a spare tire in a Lexus RX 350?

Fortunately, the Lexus RX 350 does come with a full-sized spare tire in case you run into a flat tire emergency on the road. Here’s how to remove your spare tire:
  • Open the trunk and remove the fake floor to reveal the spare tire tools and storage area.
  • Remove the jack, the metal lever, and the large metal socket from underneath the fake floor.
  • Close the tool compartment and remove the spare tire cover at the bottom right corner of your trunk floor.
  • Place the socket on the bolt inside the spare tire wheel well. Attach the metal lever to the socket to unscrew the bolt, which will release the spare tire underneath your car.

How to use the spare tire on a Lexus RX 350

If you get a flat tire while driving your
Lexus
, don’t panic. You have everything you need to change the flat for the spare tire with you! Follow these steps to remove the flat tire and assemble the spare:
  • Turn off your car and engage the parking brake to stop your car from moving while you change the tire.
  • Place wheel wedges or large bricks (or even stones) in front of your front tires and behind your rear tires. This should prevent the car from moving.
  • Loosen the flat tire’s lug nuts with the wrench that comes with the toolkit.
  • Use the car tire jack to jack the car up. Remove the lug nuts and slide the flat tire off the axle.
  • Slide the spare tire on the axle and tighten the lug nuts with the wrench.
  • Lower your car to the ground using the jack. Double-check that each lug nut is tight once your car is in contact with the ground.
The Lexus RX 350’s spare will safely transport you to a repair shop, butyou should not use it for long-distance drives. Itmust be exchanged with a regular tire as soon as possible.
