- Close the tool compartment and remove the spare tire cover at the bottom right corner of your trunk floor.
- Place the socket on the bolt inside the spare tire wheel well. Attach the metal lever to the socket to unscrew the bolt, which will release the spare tire underneath your car.

- Lower your car to the ground using the jack. Double-check that each lug nut is tight once your car is in contact with the ground.
