Both models retain their eight-passenger seating configurations for the SE and SEL trims, while the Limited and Calligraphy swap out the second-row bench seating for captain’s chairs, reducing seating to seven. The biggest changes for the 2023 model are a new higher-resolution 12.0-inch infotainment display, a redesigned steering wheel, and updated upholstery options.

XRT
One of the big differences between the 2022 and 2023 model years for the Hyundai Palisade is the addition of the all-new XRT trim level. The XRT is the Palisade’s light off-road trim, given that front-wheel drive (FWD) is standard. The XRT FWD features dark 20-inch wheels, a dark grille, black roof side rails, cross rails, body-colored door handles, new lower bumpers with skid plate accents, new lower door garnish, and black leatherette seating, and a power sunroof on the interior.
If you choose to upgrade to the XRT AWD, you unlock Hyundai’s HTRAC all-wheel-drive system, downhill brake control mode, AWD lock, and special Snow and Tow drive modes that can help you tackle tougher terrain.
