2022 Ford Escape configurations

One of the many great things about the 2022 Ford Escape is just how customizable it is. We mentioned the ten different packages available for this line of vehicles, and without further ado, here’s a little bit about each one:
  • SE Sport Appearance: Adds black front and rear bumpers, 19” ebony-painted aluminum wheels, and other sporty touches. Only available for the SE trims.
  • SEL Stealth: Adds gloss back emblems and badges, front and rear floor matts with logos, and other gloss black details. Only available on the SEL trims.
  • Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist+: Adds adaptive cruise control, evasive steering assist, lane centering, SiriusXM radio and navigation, and more. Only available on SE and SEL trims.
  • Cold Weather: Adds heated front-row seats, heated sideview mirrors, a leather-wrapped heated steering wheel, and more cold-weather features. Only available on SE trims.
  • Convenience: Adds an 8-way power driver seat, a fold-down center armrest with two cup holders, power lumbar and recline, and other features. Only available on SE trims.
  • Technology package: Adds a wireless charging pad, 10-speaker sound system with subwoofer, and more tech specs. Only available for SEL trims.
  • Outfitters Cargo - Off Grid: Adds black roof rail crossbars, cargo mats, and a Yakima off-grid. Available on SEL and Titanium trims only.
  • Outfitters Cargo - Sky Box: Adds black rail roof crossbars, cargo mat, and a Yakima SkyBox 16. Available on SEL and Titanium trims only.
  • Outfitters Bike - Front Loader: Adds black roof rail crossbars, two Yakima crossbars, and a cargo mat. Available on SEL and Titanium trims only.
  • Titanium Elite: Adds a 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system with a subwoofer, heads-up display, active park assist, and other luxury and tech specs. Titanium trims only.

2022 Ford Escape S

Starting price: $30,320 for all-wheel drive; $28,520 for front-wheel drive
Although it’s the base trim, the
Ford Escape S
comes with an impressive amount of features:
  • SYNC entertainment system
  • 1.5-liter EcoBoost gasoline engine
  • FordPass Connect
  • Lane-keeping
  • USB ports
  • Pre-collision assist.
Like most of the Escape models, the S is available in both front-wheel and all wheel drive. The front-wheel drive has a slightly lower MSRP but gets slightly more fuel economy with 30 combined mpg.

2022 Ford Escape SE

Starting price: $31,685 for all-wheel drive; $30,185 for front-wheel drive
The
SE
has the same engine as the S, and comes in more exterior colors; nine, to be exact. You’ll also get the snazzier SYNC 3 infotainment system, Sirius XM radio compatibility, and an optional panoramic vista roof.

2022 Ford Escape SE Hybrid

Starting price: $31,685 for all-wheel drive, $30,185 for front-wheel drive
Enter: the 2022 Ford Escape SE Hybrid. With a 2.5-liter iVCT Atkinson-cycle four-cylinder engine, this iteration of the Ford Escape gets an EPA-estimated 44 city/37 highway miles per gallon. You’ll also enjoy some elevated comfort perks like dual-zone climate control, a push-to-start engine, and LED interior cabin lighting.

2022 Ford Escape SEL

Starting price: $34,765 for all-wheel drive; $30,895 for front-wheel drive
We’d like to think that the “L” at the end of “SEL” stands for “luxury,” because that’s exactly what this trim level encapsulates. At this trim level, you’ll get the works: heated front seats and steering wheel, a ten-way adjustable driver’s seat, heated side mirrors, halogen fog lamps, and LED signature lighting.

2022 Ford Escape SEL Hybrid

Starting price: $34,055 for all-wheel drive; $32,550 for front-wheel drive
On the inside, the SEL Hybrid is very much the same as the SEL. The real difference is under the hood: the SEL Hybrid uses the same 2.5-liter iVCT Atkinson-cycle four-cylinder hybrid engine you’ll find in the SE hybrid.

2022 Ford Escape Titanium

Starting price: $37,305
If the SEL is luxurious, the
Titanium
encapsulates premier luxury with a voice-activated touchscreen navigation system, a ten-speaker Bang & Olufsen with a subwoofer, rain-sensing windshield wipers, ambient cabin lighting, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go lane sensing, to name just a few features. The engine also gets a makeover in the Titanium trim: a 2.0-liter ecoboost engine capable of generating 250 horsepower.

2022 Ford Escape Titanium Hybrid

Starting price: $36,595 for all-wheel drive; $35,095 for front-wheel drive
Like the other hybrid Escape trims, the Titanium hybrid has the same interior cabin as its gasoline-only twin, but with Ford’s 2.5-liter iVCT Atkinson-cycle four-cylinder hybrid engine.
