2022 Chevrolet Traverse configurations

There are almost always options to choose from when you buy a new car, and the Chevrolet Traverse is no different. Here’s what goes into the 2022 Chevrolet Traverse configurations.
First up, we have
trim levels
. There are six trim levels available on the Chevrolet Traverse, from the base LS to the high-class High Country.
Each time you move up a trim, you’ll also be moving up in both sticker price and insurance costs. That’s because each trim adds features you’ll need to pay to insure.
Then there are drivetrain options. The drivetrain controls where your wheels get their power from—the front? The back? How about each wheel being powered individually? This determines what kind of weather and terrain you can drive in.
Drive train also determines your mileage. When you opt for front-wheel drive, you’ll get 18 mpg city, 27 mpg highway, and 21 mpg combined. This drops if you instead choose the all-wheel drive, bringing you down to 17 mpg city, 25 mpg highway, and 20 mpg combined.
Then there are the engine choices. Sometimes different trim levels offer different engines, but that’s not the case for the Traverse. Each Traverse comes equipped with the same 3.6-liter V6 engine that packs 310 horsepower.
Let’s take a look at how each of these facets combines to make the 12 available 2022 Chevrolet Traverse configurations.
