The sticker price of a 2022 Cadillac XT4 starts around $37,000, but that figure can easily climb over $40,000 once you factor in premium trim levels, optional add-ons, and dealership fees.
When someone says the word “Cadillac,” most people probably think of a massive, retro-looking car with fins and a convertible soft-top. They almost certainly don’t picture a compact luxury SUV.
Well, the XT4 is here to shake up people's perceptions a little bit. It’s roomy, has plenty of cargo space, and is equipped with ample tech features. But how much does it cost?
Let’s dive right in.

2022 Cadillac XT4 MSRP
For the 2022 XT4, the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) starts around $37,000 for the base-level Luxury trim. This model features a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, an 8-inch touchscreen display, and keyless entry with push-button start.
The middle and most popular trim level—the Premium Luxury—hikes the price up to around $40,900. But it comes with more features like driver’s seat memory settings and driver’s aids like blind-spot monitoring.
Finally, the deluxe Sport trim costs $41,100 and is equipped with special exterior accents, red brake calipers, and a sport steering wheel.
Keep in mind, though, that these are estimates of the starting prices for a 2022 XT4. The “S” in MSRP does stand for “suggested,” after all. Dealerships can increase the sticker price in any way they see fit.
Furthermore, the price on the sticker doesn’t include all of the extra costs and fees that come with buying a car. Case in point, the listed MSRP for a vehicle won’t include destination fees, which are charged by the dealer to cover the cost of transporting your new car from the factory to the dealership.
That’s only one example, though. Multiple other factors can affect what you’ll pay for a new vehicle.
2022 Cadillac XT4 packages MSRP
Packages, options, and add-ons will be a major factor affecting the final price of your XT4, should you decide to purchase one. The following packages are available for the standard Luxury trim:
- Driver Awareness Package ($470 MSRP): Following distance indicator, lane-keeping assist with lane departure warning, and Intellibeam automatic on-off switch for high beams
- Cold Weather Package ($870 MSRP): Heated driver and front passenger seats, heated steering wheel, and heated rear outboard seats
Conversely, if you go with the Premium Luxury model, you’ll have the following packages to choose from:
- Driver Assistance Package ($1,100 MSRP, requires Driver Awareness Package): Adaptive cruise control, enhanced automatic emergency braking, reverse automatic braking
- Comfort and Convenience Package ($950 MSRP): Driver and front passenger ventilated seats, driver and front passenger seat massage control, eight-way power front passenger seat adjuster, four-way power driver and passenger lumbar control
- Technology Package ($1,650 MSRP): 8-inch reconfigurable gauge cluster, head-up display, cabin air ionizer, power rake and telescoping steering column, front cornering lamps, and LED front turn signals
- Enhanced Visibility Package ($1,500 MSRP): Rear pedestrian alert, rear camera mirror with washer, HD surround vision, automatic parking assist with braking
The majority of these packages are also available on the Sport trim, which has individual options for upgraded 20-inch wheels or a sport-tuned suspension, as well. As you can tell, the sticker price is rarely the whole story, and you could end up paying thousands more once all the extra fees, add-ons, and options are accounted for.
