The 2020 Cadillac CT4 lacks the space and luxuriousness of some of its rivals, but this model’s audio system options and tech features make up for it.
While engine power, fuel economy, and drivetrains are important features to consider, the feeling of sinking into a heated leather seat with your favorite song playing on your high-tech audio system is what really sets some cars apart from others. So what can you expect in the 2020 Cadillac CT4?

2020 Cadillac CT4 interior

The 2020 Cadillac CT4 comes in three trims: Luxury, Premium, and Sport.
At its base Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $32,995, the 2020 Cadillac CT4 Luxury trim is more affordable than its competitors. Still, it does lack some of the so-called luxuries that its name suggests.
Though more expensive, the Premium trim (MSRP of $37,495) and the Sport trim (MSRP of $38,595) come with a greater variety of active safety features.
So what do these trim interiors have to offer? Let’s break down this car’s notable interior features.

Seating

With a folding rear seat, the 2020 Cadillac CT4 has a maximum seating capacity of five. This includes a heated, 12-way adjustable driver’s seat and 10-way adjustable passenger seats, which come standard with synthetic leather upholstery.
If you opt for the CT4 Sport model, you’ll have the option of massage seats, which provide lumbar massages for both drivers and passengers on the road. Heated and ventilated front seats and a heated steering wheel are also available.
While this Cadillac’s front seats are roomy and supportive, the rear seating has been critiqued for its lack of legroom.

Tech

With standard features including dual-zone automotive climate control, remote start, an 8-inch touch screen, Bluetooth, two USB ports, and a Wi-Fi hot spot, the technology in the 2020 Cadillac CT4 is no slouch.
While an 8-speaker audio system comes standard, a 14-speaker Bose audio system is also available. If you stick to the basic features, you’ll still have many audio options, including satellite radio, HD Radio, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.
When it comes to the Cadillac User Experience infotainment system, it isn’t the best in the business. While the system is user-friendly and responsive, the screen is fairly small compared to rivals.
Other available tech features in the 2020 Cadillac CT4 include:
  • Wireless device charging
  • Navigation
  • Rearview camera
  • Cruise control
  • Internet access
  • Proximity sensing keyless entry
  • Push-button engine start and remote start
  • Voice recognition system

Storage

Storage isn’t this Cadillac’s strong point. With only 10.7 cubic feet of cargo space, the CT4 is embarrassed by other vehicles in its class with its limited trunk space.

Style

Now that we’ve gone through practical interior features, like seating, tech, and storage space, let’s dive into the fun stuff.
When it comes to style, the CT4 boasts a pleasant, comfortable interior. However, if you’re looking for an eye-catching, high-class interior, the CT4 probably won’t make it to the top of your list.
Leatherette upholstery comes standard, with the option for genuine leather. The dash and windowsill padding feel thin for a luxury vehicle, and the steering-wheel-mounted audio controls lack intuitive arrangement. Some of these shortcomings are accounted for in the Premium Luxury trim, which has more accessible audio and navigation systems.
While the CT4 lacks its rivals’ interior luxury and space, this Cadillac’s variety of user-friendly tech features may make up for it.
