Will a lift kit void my Ford warranty?
I want to add a lift kit to my Ford, not only for the aesthetics but also for heightened ground clearance when I’m driving. However, my Ford is still under warranty and I’m worried that the lift kit will void it. Does adding a lift kit typically void a Ford warranty?

In most cases, a lift kit will not void your Ford warranty. Lift kits and other such modifications are protected against warranty revocations by the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act of 1975. As long as a professionally-licensed installer puts the lift kit on your car and it doesn’t damage any other components, you shouldn’t have any issues.
However, if your lift kit causes other parts of your car to incur damage, Ford can rightfully void your warranty. Always hire a professional and ensure you have the correct lift kit for your model before the installation.
