I recently had my cousin install a ceiling fan for my living room. I noticed after a few days that it’s rocking back and forth. Why is my ceiling fan rocking back and forth?

A wobbly ceiling fan can definitely be alarming, but thankfully, easily fixed! When ceiling fans rock back and forth, it is usually a sign that the blades are misaligned or warped—which isn’t necessarily the installer’s fault. The case may also be that the screws were not fully tightened, which caused them to loosen as the fan spun.
Either of these issues is quite simple to fix. If the blades are misaligned, put some weight clips on the edge of the blades to help balance them. If the screws are loose, tighten them.
