How reliable is a 2008 Cadillac SRX?

I found a 2008 Cadillac SRX for sale that’s well within my budget and I might buy it. I’m a little worried that it might be so cheap because it’s unreliable and it’s started to show some problems. Is this a possibility?

In general, the
Cadillac SRX
has an average reliability rating, so it is possible that the original owner has had some issues crop up that led them to sell the vehicle. The 2008 SRX specifically will typically last for 160,000 to 180,000 miles in total and has a 15% chance of developing serious problems that require a lot of time and money to fix.
If you are worried about the Cadillac you have your eye on, ask the owner about getting it inspected by a professional before you purchase it. That way, you’ll know what you’re in for in terms of repairs and longevity.
